Sparqkids Belmont Davey Glen Park

Davey Glen Park

Parent reviewed

Hillside park with a standout climbing clubhouse (no slides/swings), a small grassy patch, and quiet ravine views. Peaceful, not a destination.

Davey Glen Park breaks the mold — literally no slides, no swings, none of the standard-issue equipment you'd expect. Instead, it's built around one striking centerpiece: a large clubhouse-style climbing structure that's genuinely well-designed and best suited for older kids who want something more architectural to explore. Younger kids and toddlers may find themselves with less to do here. There's a small grassy patch out front — not big enough for a real field, but plenty for a casual kickabout with little ones. Perched on a hillside overlooking a ravine, the park has a peaceful, tucked-away feel, with a modest view of the neighborhood below. It's a quiet, low-key spot rather than a destination park, and the lack of classic playground staples is worth knowing before you go. 3/5 drive-worthiness — sweet for a quick neighborhood visit, but not one to cross town for.
