Alexander Park is a genuine gem — the kind of playground that makes you linger longer than planned. The big-kid structure is styled like a clubhouse, complete with a rock wall, sensory panels, climbing nets, and obstacle-course vibes, while the toddler area goes full forest theme with something sweet even for babies. Rubberized flooring throughout means softer landings, always a parent favorite. A shaded picnic area sits between both playgrounds — perfect for supervising snack breaks or hosting a birthday party in comfort. There's also a big grassy field for running wild, plus a little free children's library tucked in the corner. Bonus: it's a 6-minute walk to Chuck's Donuts for coffee and a treat, and 8 minutes to Jolly's Old-Fashioned Ice Cream if you want to make a whole outing of it.
